Call to Worship: Isaiah 33:5-6 The Lord is exalted, for he dwells on high; he will fill his people with justice and righteousness, and he will be the stability of our times, a wealth of salvation, wisdom, and knowledge; the fear of the Lord is our treasure.

Assurance of Pardon: Isaiah 33:2 O LORD, be gracious to us; we wait for you. Be our arm every morning, our salvation in the time of trouble.

Affirmation of Faith: the Apostles’ Creed [Congregation will read the text together.]

I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth.

I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord,

Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary.

He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried.

The third day he rose again from the dead.

He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty.

From there he will come again to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit; the holy universal church; the communion of saints; 

the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body and the life everlasting. Amen.
