The "I AM" Statements of Jesus
The Gospel of John is written “so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name” (John 20:31).
The divine identity of Jesus is seen in his seven “I AM” metaphors recorded in John’s account: I am the bread of life…the light of the world…the door…the good shepherd…the resurrection and the life…the way, the truth, and the life…the true vine. What do these sayings reveal about our great need and the sufficiency of Jesus? Join us as we study the saving and sanctifying work of Christ for the strengthening of our faith, our worship, and our obedience.
