A few reasons why we’re using the word “teaching” instead of “preaching” in our mission statement:
- We chose the word “teaching” instead of “preaching” because it is a broad heading that includes preaching at times.
- We chose the word “teaching“ because it’s the most common description of Jesus’ ministry.
- Teaching is more accessible to an “every believer” mindset.
- Preaching is part of corporate worship. Teaching is the duty of every believer, inside and outside of the church building.

- What does the Bible say?
- How can I make Christ look good?
