- God is accomplishing his purpose of advancing his kingdom
- "Advancing the kingdom" is the language of war.
- The names change, but the story is the same.
- God is keeping his promise of leading you home.
- The date marks both the leading out and the leading into.
- The east border marks the reality of entering the Promised Land.
- God is gathering worshippers by displaying his glory.
- Glory that is seen in his power.
- Glory that results in our fear.
